Body Pampering — how do we treat the body that carries us?
The body accompanies every project and every conversation. This Direction invites us to consider rest, movement, everyday comfort and the care we seek when something is wrong.
An example, a question
A chair that suits one person may be uncomfortable for another. Before copying a routine, the useful question is: what is appropriate for this particular person, at this particular moment?
What can we explore?
Movement, rest, posture and bodywork are broad themes for discussion. Practitioner competence, personal limitations and medical recommendations shape any practical activity.
The chapter mind map

The illustrations introduce a guided conversation. Names of practices in a mind map are not evidence of medical efficacy.
